Privacy Policy

Scope
This policy describes how this website handles requests and data when you use the notification generator and related tools at fakenotifications.top.
Generated previews
The notification simulator, timer, and templates pages run in your browser. The titles, bodies, icons, and other content you enter are rendered locally for preview. We don't upload your generated notifications to a server, and we don't keep copies of them.
Local image uploads
When you upload an icon or avatar image for the simulator, your browser reads the file locally using the File API and renders it directly into the preview. The image stays in your browser. It is not sent to us or to any third party.
Local storage
The site may use your browser's localStorage for small preferences — for example, your last-used theme or whether you've dismissed a tip. Generated previews and uploaded images are not stored there. You can clear local storage any time through your browser's site settings.
Server logs
Like most websites, the hosting server may keep standard request logs (for example IP address, time, requested URL, user agent) for operational and security reasons such as troubleshooting and abuse prevention. These are kept only as long as needed.
Analytics
The site can be configured by the operator to use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (Umami). When enabled, it records aggregated page views and a small set of anonymous interaction events such as "use template" or "export image". If analytics is enabled on this deployment, you will see a script load from the operator's analytics endpoint.
Third parties
All JavaScript used by the tools is served from this site.
No accounts
There is no signup, no login, and no account system. There is also no shared-link backend — notifications you build aren't stored on a server we control.
